Strengthening Local Capability Through Continuous Improvement
For more than 70 years, Marsh Alliance has played a quiet but essential role in Australian manufacturing. Our components sit inside products Australians use every day — often unseen, but absolutely critical. And while longevity matters, we believe relevance matters more.
That’s why Marsh continues to invest decisively in people, technology, and capability — not as a reaction to market pressures, but as a long-term commitment to supporting Australian manufacturers with reliable, competitive, locally made solutions.
A Strong Australian Backbone
Since 1953, Marsh Alliance has grown from a small Brisbane spring-making operation into one of Australia’s most recognised manufacturers of springs, wire forms, pressed parts, and specialty coatings.
Today, our Carole Park facility supports customers across construction, industrial equipment, automotive, agriculture, infrastructure, defence, medical, and electrical markets — often where component reliability is non-negotiable.

Remaining a trusted manufacturing partner in these sectors means continually strengthening our capability.
Over the past 18 months alone, Marsh has reinvested more than 10% of annual revenue back into capital equipment, automation, and factory upgrades to increase capacity, improve consistency, and future-proof supply for our customers.
Scaling Capacity, Improving Consistency
One of the most significant focuses of recent investment has been our coiling operations, where quality, precision, and throughput directly affect downstream assembly for our customers.
In our large coiling section, we’ve commissioned advanced new machinery including two Primera Precision coiling systems — one for producing and finishing heavy commercial shutter door springs up to 14 mm wire diameter, and one for roller and sectional door springs incorporating robotic handling, inline heat treatment, and automated coating.
This new heat‑treatment technology — a first for Australian spring manufacturing — eliminates secondary processing steps, improves hook-end orientation accuracy, and shortens overall production time, delivering more consistent results at scale.
Preparing for What’s Next
Investment hasn’t stopped at today’s requirements. Our small coiling section is currently preparing for the commissioning of a high-speed HTC coiling line capable of producing and in-process testing more than 2,000 springs per hour up to 5 mm wire diameter. This fully integrated system includes automated grinding, de-stressing, and packing.
For customers, this means faster turnaround, higher output consistency, and improved responsiveness for both forecasted and short-notice demand — all from a local manufacturing base.
Automation That Supports People, Not Replaces Them
Beyond core production equipment, Marsh has made targeted investments across the broader factory to improve safety, sustainability, and workforce effectiveness. These include collaborative robots supporting labour-intensive assembly and packing tasks, new decoiling systems, improved machine guarding, and major upgrades to ventilation and temperature monitoring systems.
Why This Matters to Our Customers
For Australian manufacturers, supply chain resilience, lead times, and quality consistency are more important than ever. Marsh’s continued investment is designed to deliver tangible outcomes for customers including greater production capacity, improved consistency, reduced risk through local manufacture, and a partner capable of supporting both long-term programs and urgent demand.
Committed to Australia’s Manufacturing Future
At its core, Marsh Alliance exists to make essential components that are made well, delivered reliably, and competitively priced — enabling our customers to deliver for their own markets with confidence. This commitment continues to guide every investment decision we make.
